Insurance and buildings warranty
If you are a leaseholder, the structure of your home is normally covered by our Building’s Insurance. The premium is paid through your service charge.
The policy covers damage to the structure of the building as a direct result of specific perils, such as fire, storm, or flood. A full copy of the policy, which provides details of all the perils covered, is available from our office. You can also obtain details of the Building’s Insurance by logging onto your My Yarlington account and requesting a copy of your schedule via the web chat facility.
If you need to claim on the policy, please contact our insurers who will guide you through any claim you may possibly have. Please note that as a Leaseholder, there is an excess payable on general claims and on claims for subsidence and heave. You should contact our insurers who will guide you through the process.
Important – there is no cover to your personal belongings, so we advise you to take out your own contents insurance.
